Facility E – IWPP Project Overview
Supporting Qatar’s Next Generation of Power & Water Infrastructure
Kahramaa has initiated the re-tendering of the Facility E Independent Water & Power Project (IWPP) to meet the country’s growing need for reliable electricity and potable water. The project aims to deliver 2,300 MW of power and 100 MIGD of desalinated water, strengthening national utility capacity for the coming decades.
Currently in the Pre-Qualification phase, the project seeks experienced international developers in partnership with Strategic National Investors, with Nebras Energy holding a 55% stake.
