Nebras Energy Organized Beach Cleanup Campaign

Qatar Electricity and Water Company (Nebras Energy) recently organized a campaign to clean up the beach of Ras Abu Fontas. This is one of the company’s key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, reflecting its commitment to environmental preservation and protection. More than 100 employees had participated in this campaign. They showed their commitment and support to the environment by removing rubbish and other waste materials from the beach. The goal of the campaign was to create awareness on staff’s social and environmental responsibility towards a clean environment. The campaign was led by Mr. Abdulrahman Nasralla, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Abu Fontas (RAF). After successful campaign, Mr. Abdulrahman Nasralla said: “Nebras Energy value the safety and quality of life of our employees and respect the environment of the surrounding community where we operate.” As well, “we thank all those who participated in this worthwhile activity and who made it successful”.
