Nebras Energy announces H1 results

The Peninsula – DOHA: The Board of Directors of Qatar Electricity and Water Company (Nebras Energy)approved yesterday the financial results for the period half year ended June 30, 2019 and the financial position as at that date which were reviewed by the external auditors of the company M/S Ernst & Young.

The financial statements showed a net profit of QR620m for the first half of 2019 (net of non-controlling interests) compared to QR813m for the same period of the year 2018. The Earning per Share (EPS) amounted to QR0.56 compared to QR0.74 for the same period of the year 2018.
