Doha, April 21 (QNA) – Qatar Electricity and Water Company (Nebras Energy) has announced its financial results for the period ended March 31, 2015, where the company has achieved a net profit (after excluding minority stakes) QR 346 million compared to QR 299 for the same period in 2014, an increase of 16 percent .
A press release issued by the company this evening that the Nebras Energy Board approved the financial results after a meeting headed by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Issa Bin Shahin Al-Ghanim, and discussed the company’s positive performance for the first quarter 2015 financial results.
The company also achieved an increase in sales of QR 667 million compared to QR 643 million for the same period of 2014, an increase of 4 percent and operating profit increase by 22 percent, reaching QR 302 million compared to QR 248 million in the same period of 2014. (QNA)
